48 Studios in Liberdade

Forty-eight studio flats renovated in the same building, in the Liberdade district of São Paulo, and handed over in under 60 days. Korner carried out the porcelain flooring, joinery, lighting, new power points, shower enclosures, taps and fittings, appliances, furniture and general painting.

The layout repeats unit by unit: a galley kitchen with a granite counter, joinery with open niches, a work surface fixed to the wall under the TV and a continuous headboard with recessed reading lights. That repetition is what makes the deadline possible, and it is also what turns any detail left unresolved into rework multiplied by 48.

Power points were redistributed around actual use: beside the bed, at the work surface and along the kitchen run, and the lighting moved to track spots instead of a single central fitting. Shower enclosures, taps and appliances were installed unit by unit, within the same cycle.

The porcelain tile runs from the entrance to the balcony with no threshold in between, and the whole flat was repainted. The units were handed over ready to let, furnished and equipped.
